The UMass Amherst Writing Center

The Writing Center is located on the lower level of the W.E.B. Du Bois Library, across from the Digital Media Lab.

The Writing Center is closed over winter break. We will reopen February 9, 2026

Spring 2026 Hours

Sundays: 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Mondays: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm

Tuesdays: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm

Wednesdays: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Thursdays: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Fridays: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Saturdays: CLOSED
